Out of all the options for the creative writing section I have decided to pick scripted dialogue because I want to improve on my script writing abilities, while also wanting to highlight a very prominent memory from my childhood because this assignment is about myself.

I have chosen this memory because as a child I was the last one in my family to move to the Philippines, this resulted in me being bullied as a child . Although, this may seem to be a saddening memory I would label it more of a misunderstanding because as a child I didn’t understand and realise that my mum actually sacrificed a lot just for all of us to move to London. I am very grateful to have a hard-working mother that loves me and has done a lot for me.

I thought hard on how to make my introduction more creative, so I decided to turn it into a “Discord call”. Where I am calling the audience and they answer it, this leads me onto turning the conversation about Myblog, and what they would see when visiting it.

Well… From my website you will be pleased to see who I am. Isn’t that great to know? (Jokingly tone) Anyways…It will also show you everything I have done and how I have progressed through my university year as a student here. (Sound exciting) My visual and interactive blog includes all my film making, audio content, creative writing, group projects and many more to show exactly how broad my course is.

For the film section of this assignment I have done a mini vlog of me at the gym, I have chosen the gym because it is a place I go to regularly, so I consider it a main factor about myself.

My vlog provides different types of shots such as medium, close up and wide shots to present the knowledge I know of shot types and to make the video be more enjoyable by not just having one type of shot type. Moreover, my film includes panning and moving while filming, this results in my film to be more entertaining. Also, I have used framing and composition well because of the way I have directed my friend where to film me to make sure the videos turned out just right.

During my Creative Foundations lesson we were told to create a mood board that presents us but in a form of a brand. I have chosen my brand to be about a travelling brand because I wanted to showcase my country Philippines, the place I am from.

This mood board has a wide variety of pictures of the Philippines, all taken by me. I have used the pictures of when I went on holiday to the Philippines, so the mood board can feel more authentic and truly be about me because it also indications how I enjoy taking photographs. Furthermore, I have different types of images from the foods to the landscapes, I really wanted to showcase what Philippines is all about because it is a country I am proud to be from.

For this mood board I used the three main colours of the Philippine flag because I made sure the theme of my mood board was evident. Also, I planned out well what stickers would fit in with my mood board to make it more aesthetic and vibrant.
